oh my god
Aaron was talking to one of the nurses on 5 East who had had pancreatitis in the past, and she told him that he almost DIED in the ICU because something that his pancreas sent out was attacking his kidneys and his liver.
Ohh my goooooooooooooooooood
I am so glad they didn't tell us that while he was in the ICU. They mentioned "life support" to us once, and that was scary enough.
But thankfully he is getting better, and looked AMAZING today. Hopefully his surgery will be this week. :) |

:) They moved Aaron out of the ICU today, down into the surgicial floor. He looks SO much better everyday.
The first day, the ER doc sends him home and we call 911 15 minutes later. He is crying and screaming in pain.
The second day he just laid in bed, all doped up but still in pain.
The third day, he actually sat up in the chair!
The fourth day he was WALKING around, which was amazing.
Today he did LAPS around the ICU and Surgical Floor, and even had enough energy to take a shower. Omg, it was amazing.
At first the doctor was yelling at him because he wasn't walking, but now he's telling him to slow it down lol. Aaron wants to get better sooooooooo badly. Today he told me that he is coming home tommorow, and nothing I told him could change his mind. (But baby, you haven't even had surgery yet! That's okay, it's only 30mins, I'll go home right after. But you need to rest up and heal! It won't take that long, I'm going home tommorow! Okaaaaayyyyy)
He still has 40 degree fevers and has not yet passed gas, so they're not going to operate on him just yet. :( He has one of those nasogastric tube things stuck in him and it really sucks. Today he told his mom, "If it wasn't for this tube up my nose, this would have been a REALLY awesome hospital stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I think the morphine is getting to him.
Poor guy. I asked him if he was having crazy dreams at night, and he looked at me just for a SECOND with really terriffied looking eyes. :( He then told me they weren't scary or anything, but he wouldn't tell me what any of them were.
I can't wait until he gets home. His mom, his brother and me tag-teamed the house today and got it nice and clean. He'll be sooooo happy. |

The 1/2 Rack BBQ ribs, Jack's Chicken Wrap and the Chicken Finger Dinner at Joey's Only.
Seeing as I have been living off them for the past 7 months, I'm sure I could do it for the rest of my life.

No, but seriously, my dad. That man is so bonkers. Just this week he told my mom that he has a cronic disease and is going to die within a year. Yeah right. Now stfu and leave my mother alone!!! |
